A HOSA Community Awareness project

HOSA is a national organization for students who plan to work in health care. In its Community Awareness event, students pick a health issue and run a campaign to raise awareness of it where they live.

We chose dementia. Almost every family meets it at some point, and most people only start learning about it once someone they love is already sick.

About our campaign

Why we chose dementia

It affects millions of people, and the people caring for them, often with little support.

More than 7 million

Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease, the most common cause of dementia.
