About Remember Together
We are high school sophomores in HOSA, running a campaign to help our community understand dementia and support the people who care for someone living with it.
Why we started
Most people learn about dementia only when someone in their family is diagnosed. By then, they are learning while also caring for someone they love.
We wanted to make the basics easy to find earlier: what dementia is, how it differs from normal aging, and what to do when a day gets hard. We also wanted to give caregivers something practical they can open in the middle of a difficult moment.
So we built a free app, wrote lessons and guides from trusted health organizations, and started sharing what we learn on Instagram and in our community. This website brings it all together.
What we have made so far
- 5
- lessons on dementia, with a 17 question check before and after
- 5
- step by step caregiver guides
- 7
- calm memory games, each with five levels
- 1
- free app for iPhone and iPad, launching soon
How we measure our impact
We will post our numbers here as the campaign grows.
- How much people learn, using the app's before and after check. Scores stay anonymous.
- How many people use each part of the app, counted without names or personal details.
- Visits to this website and messages through its forms.
- Talks we give and the number of people who attend.
How we work
- Every fact has a source
- Our lessons and guides come from the Alzheimer’s Association, the National Institute on Aging, the CDC and the World Health Organization. Each page lists its sources.
- We do not diagnose
- We explain what dementia is and when to see a doctor. We never tell anyone whether they have it.
- Your information stays yours
- The app has no accounts and keeps what you enter on your phone. We never sell or share what you send us.
- Free for everyone
- No ads, no subscriptions and nothing to buy, in the app or on this site.
Our team
A HOSA Community Awareness team.
We are a small group of HOSA members who want our community to understand dementia before it arrives.
Team introductions are coming to this page soon. Until then, you can reach all of us at remembertogetherhosa@gmail.com.
