What we collect on this website, why we collect it, and how to ask us to delete it. Last updated October 2026.

The short version

  • We only collect what you type into our forms, and simple visit counts.
  • We never sell or share your information, and we never show ads.
  • You can ask us to delete anything you sent us at any time.

What you send us through forms

When you send a message, request a talk, offer to volunteer, sign up for updates or share a story, what you type is saved in a private Google Sheet that only our team can open. We also get a copy by email at remembertogetherhosa@gmail.com, and we send you a short email to confirm we received it.

We use this information only to reply to you and to run the campaign. We may report totals, such as how many people signed up, but never your name or details.

Stories

We only publish a story if the person who wrote it checked the box giving permission, and only after our team has read it. Published stories show a first name or “Anonymous”, as the writer chose. We never publish email addresses. If you want a published story taken down, email us and we will remove it.

Visit counts

We keep our own simple count of how many times each page is viewed. When a page opens, it sends us only the page address and whether it is the first page you opened in this browser tab. It uses no cookies and sends nothing that could identify you. The counts are saved in the same private Google Sheet as our forms.

This site also uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are most useful. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives information such as your general location, device type and the pages you view. It does not tell us who you are. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings or a content blocker, and the site will still work.

Age

Our forms are for people 13 and older. If you are younger, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.

The app

The Remember Together app has no accounts. What you enter, like routines and lesson progress, stays on your phone. If we count how often each part of the app is used, it will be without any names or personal details, only to measure our impact.

Deleting your information

Email remembertogetherhosa@gmail.com and tell us which form you used. We will delete what you sent and confirm by email.
